Pirchei Shoshanim, a provider of Jewish Chaplains to the U.S. Military, has arranged for a 10-day free Taglit-birthright Israel program for Jewish Military personnel who are 18-26 and who have never been to Israel on a peer program. This is your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect with the beauty of Israel, explore the richness of Jewish life, and develop lasting friendships with Americans and Israeli peers.

The trips are special in that experiencing Israel should be about more than just taking a tour. The Pirchei Shoshanim experience is a hands-on journey. Participants on our trips gain a rich appreciation for the beauty of Israel and gain a deeper connection to our global Jewish community and our vibrant and enduring Jewish Homeland. Perhaps most importantly, our participants form a lifetime of new friendships with fellow travelers and Israeli peers who will accompany and enrich our experience. Assuredly, there's no better way to experience Israel than with Israelis by your side. The overall theme of the Pirchei Shoshanim experience is rooted in "three pillars" from the Ethics of our Fathers, a famous Jewish text from antiquity. These pillars are: "Torah" (Learning & Spirituality), "Avodah" (Service & Relating to the Land), and "Gemilut Chasadim" (Helping Others & Deeds of Loving Kindness).  Pirchei Shoshanim challenges our participants to experience Israel through spiritually inspiring discussions; breath-taking outdoor hikes, and opportunities to help those in need by giving of our time and spirit.
